Deblina is the founder of Advent Juris. She has been enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa since 2006. She has previously worked with reputed law firms in Mumbai in their corporate department.

She specialises in and general corporate-commercial laws in India.

She has worked on several transactions advising a variety of multinational and Indian clients in employment and labour law related matters which includes employment restructuring, drafting employment and consultancy agreements, appointment letters, legal notices, staff handbooks, opining and advising on various aspects of labour law in India, including assistance in obtaining statutory registrations, approvals, consents.

She has advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, foreign exchange laws, and on other corporate  commercial transactions and general corporate activities across sectors including manufacturing, information technology, pharmaceutical, jewellery, hotels & hospitality and financial services.

Her capital markets experience includes initial public offerings (including drafting offer documents, conducting due diligence, providing opinions, reviewing and drafting issue agreements, registrar to the issue agreements, etc), drafting investment advisory agreements, portfolio management agreements, and stock broker agreements, advising on and assisting in the setting up of Alternate Investment Funds and their investment activities. She also advices and assists in obtaining SEBI related registrations.
